Automatic Versioning & Changelogs

Every article published on USA NOW maintains an immutable audit trail in our database. When an issuing authority (such as the National Weather Service cancelling a warning, or the FDA clarifying a recalled batch code) updates their records, our pipeline:

• Updates the active article with the new factual details.
• Appends an updated entry to the Verified Event Timeline.
• Saves the previous state to the internal version archive.
• Reflects the exact dateModified timestamp in the schema and page view.

Submitting an Inaccuracy Notice

If you believe a report contains inaccurate or outdated information, or if an official agency has issued a modification not yet reflected on the page, please contact our verification desk at corrections@usanow.net with the article URL and the official agency citation.
