About USA NOW
America, Right Now.
USA NOW (usanow.net) is an independent digital news and public intelligence platform dedicated to reporting verified, critical developments across the United States. We bridge the gap between fast-moving national events and readers who demand factual, reliable, and prompt information.
Our Editorial Mandate
In a media landscape crowded with sensationalism and unsourced rumors, USA NOW is anchored in primary source reporting. Our news desk specializes in high-impact domains where speed and accuracy are vital:
- Severe Weather & Natural Hazards: Real-time alerts, hurricane paths, flood advisories, and seismic events verified through NOAA, the National Weather Service, and the USGS.
- Consumer Protection & Safety Recalls: Swift alerts on food, automotive, and medical product recalls directly from the FDA, USDA, NHTSA, and CPSC.
- National Airspace & Transit: Commercial aviation delays, FAA ground stops, and major transportation disruptions.
- Financial Markets & Economy: Wall Street indices, Federal Reserve rate decisions, corporate earnings, and FinTech market shifts.
- Technology & AI: Enterprise software, semiconductor supply chains, artificial intelligence policy, and frontier computing innovations.
Newsroom Standards & Verification
Every report published by USA NOW adheres to strict verification principles:
- Primary Documentation First: We do not publish speculative reports. Every dispatch must be substantiated by official government releases, regulatory filings, or direct institutional statements.
- Zero Hallucination: Facts, statistics, dates, and geographic boundaries are validated before publication. We do not invent quotes or amplify unverified social media claims.
- Living Event Updates: Developing stories are continuously updated as new official bulletins arrive, with transparent revision timestamps.
- Auditable Citations: Every article includes direct links to official agency sources, enabling readers to independently audit all source materials.
